FASB is hiring XBRL Best Practice Research Assistants! #XBRL

The Financial Accounting Standards Board is hiring qualified individuals to join its XBRL Team as XBRL Best Practice Research Assistants.

The XBRL Best Practice Research Assistants are responsible for evaluating taxonomy extensions used by reporting entities in their filings with the SEC for the purpose of improving the quality and usability of the US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy.

This position is an excellent path for individuals who possess strong technical accounting skills to gain experience with XBRL, including XBRL taxonomy development and instance document creation.
