The Conference runs from Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Yas Viceroy Hotel on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.  

The UAE region is implementing XBRL in the Securities sector with a project at the Securities & Commodoties Authority.  This project is the first to utilize the IFRS taxonomy.  This conference will be one that highlights the activities in Securities and introduce the region to the global use of XBRL in Banking, Registries and Stock Exchanges. 

XBRL UAE expects this conference to attract over 500 local stakeholders and interested parties as well as the global community from over 40 other countries.
