I am interested to know what tools everyone is using right now for reporting. Are you satisfied with them? And what are the strengths/weaknesses you are finding?

Liz,

Don't know if anyone responded to you privately on your survey.

There is a panel discussion in XBRL Conf in Washington DC (Oct 15 & 16) on the second day on

Included in the hand out for this session will be additional information on the tools as well as information on service providers as well. Join us for this session to learn about the available tools, and have your questions ready for Q&A.

Hello from Lithuania:)
I use FUJITSU, XWand Interstage Tool for taxonomy and instance file creating. You can to download evaluation version of this tool from fujitsu site. This tool help me to create quickly taxonomy and instance file. This tool let create dimensional and not dimensional taxonomy. Let view all dimensions and data in accordance with those dimensions.
You can use FUJITSU API library, which let you extract elements from taxonomy and instance file, or you can by using this tool to create instance and taxonomy files.
But for effective using of this tool you hould undestnad the basis of XBRL format and rules.
