Here's a greate article on the same topic Inline XBRL from AccountancyWeek about the XBRL e-filing of accounts for Tax purposes in the UK and the countdown before it enters mandatory into force in 2011.We're also noticiong that many other Tax Authorities in Europe are moving towards XBRL.

IMA Urges US Senate to Ratify H.R. 2146: "The Digital Accountability and Transparency Act" (DATA Act)
